Hello! I’m Loreto, a Green turtle.

My name was chosen by Francisco Talamantes on October 23, 2021, when I was captured in the Bahía de Loreto National Park.

I weigh 25.7 kg, and like some of my companions, my sex has not yet been determined. After collecting all the necessary information and tagging me for tracking, I was released back into the sea. Thanks to the help of people like you and conservation efforts, I hope to have a bright and healthy future in our oceans. Thank you for being part of this important mission!
