Hello! My name is Sam, and I’m a Green turtle.

On May 31st, 2021, I was captured in the Bahía de Loreto National Park as part of a conservation project, and it was my godmother, Nidia Ramírez, who gave me this special name.

Weighing 15 kg and without it being determined whether I’m male or female, I’m part of the efforts to study and protect my species. I was tagged with a plate that will help identify me if I’m found again. After that, I was released to continue swimming in my home. Thank you for supporting this important cause for turtles like me!
