Hello! I’m Trenda, a Green turtle.

I was captured on May 27th, 2022, in the Bahía de Loreto National Park. My godmother, Sula Vanderplank, is the one who gave me this name.

I weighed 26.2 kg at the time of my capture, although it’s not yet known whether I’m male or female. Did you know that Green turtles like me help maintain the health of coral reefs by feeding on algae? After being measured and tagged with an identification tag, I was released back into the ocean. Thank you for caring about nature and supporting the conservation of turtles like me!
