Hello! I’m Hali, a Hawksbill turtle
I was captured on October 3rd, 2024, in the feeding grounds of the Bahía de Loreto National Park as part of Eco Alianza de Loreto’s priority species conservation project. My sponsor, Giordani Aguirre, gave me my name, and I weighed 28.2 kg during my last check-up.
They monitor us to ensure we stay healthy and to better understand our behavior. As a proud Hawksbill, I prefer coral reefs, where my overlapping shell plates make me stand out. I hope that if you visit, you’ll send me a wave from the surface!
