Hello! I'm Aaklon, a Green turtle (also known as Prieta or Chelonia mydas).

I was captured on August 29, 2025, in the Bahía de Loreto National Park, as part of the priority species conservation project by Eco Alianza de Loreto. My name was given to me by my sponsor, Nadia Islas, and during my last check-up, I weighed 27 kg.

Although my sex is still undetermined, monitoring helps the team learn more about my health and marine life. Green turtles like me are great travelers: we can cover long distances between feeding grounds and nesting beaches. Our instincts guide us across the ocean!

So, if you ever explore these waters, you might find me in the middle of one of my marine adventures.
