Hello! I'm Andre, a very special Hawksbill turtle
My sponsor, Andre Garayzar, chose my name to accompany me on my journey through the sea. Although my sex has not yet been determined, I feel part of a very important effort that seeks to protect turtles like me and bring hope to our species.
I invite you to learn about my story: from my first capture in 2024, to my first recapture in 2025. Each experience shows my growth and highlights the importance of conservation to ensure that we can have a healthy future in the ocean.

A New Beginning
My adventure began on March 19, 2024, when I was captured for the first time. At that moment, I weighed 11.7 kg, with a straight carapace length of 48 cm and a width of 37 cm.
This first record was very important, as it allowed the team to measure and document my health condition. Thanks to this conservation effort, my story in the sea became part of a project that seeks to protect us.
