Hello! I’m Lucky, a Hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) with a very special story.
My Godmother, Priscila Conde, chose my name with care, accompanying my journey through the ocean. Although my sex has not yet been determined, I am part of an important conservation effort that seeks to protect turtles like me and ensure a better future for our species.
I invite you to learn about my story: from my first capture in 2024, to my first recapture in 2025. Each experience shows my growth and highlights the importance of conservation to ensure that we can have a healthy future in the ocean.
