Hello! I'm Tony, a Green turtle (also known as Prieta or Chelonia mydas).

I was captured on August 29, 2025, in the Bahía de Loreto National Park as part of the priority species conservation project by Eco Alianza de Loreto. My name was chosen by the Eco Alianza team in honor of one of its founders: Anthony "Tony" Kinninger. During my last check-up, I weighed 42 kg.

Although my sex is still undetermined, monitoring helps the team ensure I am healthy and learn more about my life in the sea. As a Green turtle, I love the seagrass meadows where I spend much of my time grazing and resting.

If you ever visit these waters, remember that my name carries a piece of Eco Alianza's history!
